Situated on the first floor with an imposing classical Victorian staircase and lift access, each of our venues are convincingly individual in character but together, are a remarkable example of the affluence and sophistication borne out of the Ballarat gold rush era of the 1850’s.


This is a spectacular and elegant room, in the late 19th century Empire style with its high ceiling and fine wallpapers. The Grand Dining Room is the perfect venue for large dinners and important meetings.

The Grand Dining Room is a truly stunning setting for corprate dinners, gala balls, awards nights, weddings and other social gatherings.    


The legendary Prince’s room was specially prepared for royalty in 1867 when Queen Victoria’s second son, Prince Alfred, the Duke of Edinburgh visited Ballarat. The room is decorated with rich wallpapers and a most magnificent ceiling installed at the beginning of the last century.    

Even a simple meeting can take on the atmosphere of a “regal” event in the Prince’s room.


Located on historic Lydiard Street and overlooking Her Majesty’s theatre. Imagine a formal dinner around the antique dining table for up to 30 guests; a meeting to form a new gold mining company or cocktails with Nellie Melba prior to a local performance – anything is possible.


Deep under Craig’s wonderful high Victorian edifice is a contrasting bluestone and timber cellar - frequently in the past the scene of much joyous imbibing. Now a private venue for dinner parties, mystery nights, gourmet wine dinners and themed gatherings with a rustic feel.


Located in historic Bath Lane, with Climate control and AV equiment built in, it is perfect for private interviews or meetings of up to 10 guests.
